are there any shops/stores/places that sell tiny little screws ?

before this question raises ’suspicions’ from online law enforcement spys lol, i need three little ones for my JVC HD camcorder which has lost 3 screws.

i dont feel secure handling it because it feels like the external part is loose, and at any moment it could fall apart.

brought it from currys 2 years ago and the warantee has expired (took out a year plan on it).

i will not spend ££ to repair it, it records, playbacks etc – 100% functional.

i wonder what other devices around the house would have similar sized litle screws ? what about calculators ??? anyone got an ideas ?

or woudl maplins sell em ?
funnily enough i dont glasses. shall i take my mums spectacles apart and lie bout accidently ’stepping on em’ , i could just use sticky tape together ?

Go to a small jewellers, they might be able to help you out. Frequently they’ll have a parts bin that you can raid. Sometimes they’ll just give you it for free. Also try your local independant opticians, also if there is even such things left a local tool shop (nothing like B&Q).

Interestingly the more rural places you go to the more likely you’ll find a replacement…its amazing what these little have stashed. The smaller the place the more helpful staff seem to be…maplin or B&Q just don’t have the time to give you the level of attention you need.
