HDMI v1.3 Cable Needed For 1080P HD TV?
Is a HDMI version 1.3 cable needed for a 1080p HD TV?
On Wikipedia it says that there is v1.3, v1.3a, v1.3b, v1.3c… now I’m really confused :S

This is the TV I am getting… further down the specs it says “HDMI In – HDMI ver 1.3 + deep color”.
you don’t even need a 1.3 any hdmi will work fine. The 1.3 claimed to be the “fix” for the video and audio being out of sync. The sync issue has nothing to do with hdmi cable. The fact is that the audio files are much easier to un-compress than the video files. Spend as little as possible on an hdmi cable, there isn’t any thing special needed for that cable…unless your going to need one longer than 25′
as matter of fact you wont even be using 1080 unless you have blue ray or Dish Networks HD on Demand service
