Can you get different resolution hdmi cables?
if so how do you tell what resolution it hdmi cable is
Cable does not have resolution, some manufactures will test their cables for higher speed ability and claiming high speed certification but these certifications are not standardized, some companies have more rigorous testing methods than others…there have been some independent testing by various organizations…but even in most of these tests the only differences between cables has been shown in lengths greater than 15 feet…and even in those tests some really inexpensive cables did better than high price ones that make all kinds of claims about themselves…….so if your runs are less that 15 feet you could use any inexpensive cable out their, and get good results, in runs longer than 15ft you might want to take a look at a better quality cable, that is certified for high speed 1.3 or 1.4 for 3D by a reputable company…if you are worried about quality take a look at BlueJean cables they have one of the best reputations for producing a quality cable….
